Will OKC go after Bosh ?
ESPN Insider
Chris Bosh will be one of the best free agents this summer. There's a lot of speculation about where he'll end up, including New York, Miami, Dallas, in Los Angeles with the Lakers, and of course re-signing with the Raptors.
But what about the Oklahoma City Thunder ? That was the topic broached by Art Garcia of NBA.com on Sunday.
Garcia writes: "Kevin Durant and Chris Bosh on the Thunder frontline together. By Feb. 18 ? Why not ? ... If the Raptors felt compelled to move Bosh, and there are plenty of rumors out there to support such a notion, Oklahoma City general manager Sam Presti could make a serious play for the lefty power forward. Not only is OKC comfortably under the salary cap, but the franchise has another two first-round draft choices this June and nice pieces to export across the border. Would a deal of, say, ever-improving third-year forward Jeff Green, a pair of No. 1s and another youngster with potential, Serge Ibaka or D.J. White, interest Toronto ? If Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo was certain Bosh was walking this summer, does such a package from OKC make sense ?"
"I've never thought about that, to be honest," Durant told Garcia. "Of course I love these guys in the locker room. I feel if we keep these guys around and stick together for a long time, we'll be all right. But I've never thought about getting a guy like Chris Bosh or Dwyane Wade or anyone else."
Darnell Mayberry of The Oklahoman covers the Thunder and has some thoughts about a Bosh trade.
Mayberry writes: "First off, let me assure you that the piece, while scintillating, is purely speculative. ... The organization's long-term motives have not changed, although Bosh certainly would fit the bill of a player that makes sense both now and in the future. The problem is, trading for Bosh now doesn't guarantee he'll be around in the future. Acquiring Bosh would be a big-time risk that could blow up in July if he decides to bolt for, say, the beaches of Miami or Broadway in New York. The Thunder will have then traded valuable assets for nothing. It's that risk that partially explains why Phoenix was unable to move Amare Stoudemire last season after all the fuss and trade rumors regarding where he'd land. ... Bartering for Bosh now has its benefits. It just seems too risky a plan for Presti."
Comme cela est précisé à la fin de l'article, le risque de voir partir Bosh dans une autre équipe pour peanuts (début Juillet en tant que FA) empêche surement le front-office d'aller plus loin dans les transactions !

| De toute façon, il n'y a pas de secret, si OKC réussit si bien cette saison, c'est avant tout sur l'implication défensive, l'équipe est largement dans le top 5 NBA là dessus, voire le top 3. |

“I can say this now because we don’t play them again, but I’m glad we don’t meet these guys again until next year,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “It’ll give us some time to figure (defending Durant) out. He is so big and skilled and he can just shoot it over the top even when you’re there and he doesn’t even notice you. When he’s shooting it the way he did today, it makes it even that much tougher.

Thabo galère pas une seconde defensivement... C'est pas parce qu'il arrive que l'adversaire direct s'en sorte correctement (Wade cette nuit) que Sefolosha a pas fait son boulot.
Il est MONSTRUEUX defensivement cette saison, si ya une justice il ne peut pas être écarté de la first team defensive et des premières places pour le Defenseur de l'année. Je suis malheureusement pas certain qu'il y en ait une, on va sûrement encore avoir droit à du LBJ et Kobe Bryant...

Enorme KD, qui n'a pas fait de détail après la frustration des 2 défaites de 1 pt.
Il finit à 36 pts 10 reb avec un superbe 14/18 3/3 5/6.
Son 77% aux shoots est sa meilleure perf en NBA pour l'instant.
Il est également à un joli 7/8 à 3 pts en 2 matchs.
Il repasse 3ème au top scoring avec 29.1, et est à quasi 49% aux shoots....à tout juste 21 ans. Ca fait peur (enfin pas pour moi )
OKC détruit MIA et continue de se positionner pour la 8ème place. |

Putain c'est rageant, 2 défaites de 1 petit point face à SA et DAL.
L'équipe a encore du mal à boucler les matchs serrés face à des cadors.
La luttle pour les playoffs va être acharnée !
KD, 29 pts de moyenne à 48%, 7 reb 3 pd mais 4 to, il poursuit son petit bonhomme de chemin.

Kevin Durant's phenomenal improvement on defense has been one of the most consequential stories of the first half of the season.
This season's numbers reveal a shocking amount of improvement. When Durant is on the court, the Thunder are yielding just 103.4 points per 100 possessions -- 10 points fewer than when he played during his rookie season and 9.2 points fewer than last year.
